Coverage for the Parts That Cost the Most

A car extended warranty carries factory-style coverage forward once the original warranty runs out. An auto repair warranty centers on the mechanical and electrical parts that wear out over time, from engine timing components to the alternator and starter. An auto protection warranty widens the list of covered components for drivers who want fewer holes in their coverage. By phone we go over the covered repairs each vehicle service contract names, what it leaves out and how claims are paid.

    Car Extended Warranty

A vehicle service contract that pays for covered repairs after the factory warranty ends, so a failed transmission or AC compressor becomes a planned cost.

  • Mechanic in a navy shirt and gloves working under a car raised on a two-post lift in a repair bay, with a clipboard of paperwork in the foreground

    Auto Repair Warranty

A vehicle service contract that pays for covered mechanical and electrical repairs, so a failed part becomes a planned cost instead of a budget shock.

    Auto Protection Warranty

A vehicle service contract that pays for covered breakdowns of the engine, AC, electrical and other systems, with monthly payments you can plan around.

How Getting Covered Works

The whole process happens by phone or video, or at our office if you prefer to sit down with us.

  1. 1

    Tell us about your vehicle

Have your VIN, current mileage and a rough idea of the service history ready. Records of regular oil changes and coolant service help, because many contracts ask for proof of maintenance at claim time.

  2. 2

See your options next to each other

We put a few plan levels in front of you and spell out what separates them: the listed parts, the deductible per visit and whether the term runs by years, miles or both.

  3. 3

    Read the contract with us

Before you sign, we go through exclusions, any waiting period, repair shop rules and how claims are authorized. You ask questions until the wording makes sense.

  4. 4

    Start coverage and set payments

Pick the payment schedule that fits your budget and your coverage begins. Keep our number handy for any question about a repair, a claim or the contract later on.

A Local Company Focused on Repair Coverage

We help drivers protect themselves from the repair bills that come with aging cars, trucks and SUVs. Most of the people we work with are families who would rather pay a steady monthly amount than face a failed transmission or a seized AC compressor with no plan in place.

Our approach is technical on purpose. We name the parts, explain how they fail and show where each contract draws its lines. In Houston's long, hot summers, cooling systems, batteries and air conditioning work hard, and we make sure you know whether those components are covered before you need them. You can reach us in English or Spanish.

What Drivers Get When They Plan With Us

A few parts cause most of the repair bills that knock a budget off course. Our job is showing you which of them a plan pays for, so the choice gets made before the car breaks down, not after.

In business 40 years

Forty years in business has shown us which contract terms cause problems when a claim is filed, like wear-and-tear exclusions or loose wording about seals and gaskets. We flag those lines before you agree to anything.

Free cancellation and full deposit refund within first 30 days

Change your mind after signing up and you can cancel free within the first 30 days, with your deposit returned in full. That gives you time to read every page at home and call us with questions.

Coverage sized to your mileage

A pickup at 140,000 miles and a sedan at 60,000 call for different plans. We weigh age, mileage and the common trouble spots of your model, such as turbocharger wear or CVT failures, and size the coverage to that risk.

A steady monthly figure

With flexible payment options, the plan cost is spread over the term on a schedule you pick, rather than landing all at once the day a wheel bearing or water pump quits.

Straight answers on exclusions

Most contracts treat tires, brake pads, wiper blades and oil changes as maintenance and do not pay for them. We say so at the start, so the repair shop counter holds no surprises.

How a Plan Price Gets Set

A service contract is priced on two questions: how likely your vehicle is to have a covered breakdown during the term, and what that repair would cost in parts and shop labor. We take each factor in turn on the call, which explains why quotes on two similar cars can differ so much.

Quotes are free and given over the phone once we look at your vehicle's year, make, model and mileage. We break down every part of the plan price so you see what the money covers.

Vehicle age and mileage
More miles mean more wear on seals, bearings and transmission clutch packs. Covering an older vehicle costs more, and some plans cap eligibility by mileage.
Make, model and parts cost
Pricey parts on an imported model, an eight-speed automatic or a turbocharged engine push repair costs up, and the plan price rises with them. A simpler engine without a turbo is usually cheaper to cover.
Level of coverage
Powertrain plans protect the engine, transmission and drive axles. Stated-component plans name the parts they pay for, while exclusionary plans pay for everything outside a short exclusion list. Wider coverage carries a higher price.
Deductible per repair visit
Choosing a bigger deductible brings the plan price down but means you pay more on each shop visit. We walk through how that balance plays out for the way you drive.
Term length
A longer term in miles or years costs more in total, but the monthly payments can be stretched further.

Questions Houston Drivers Bring Us Before They Sign

Something not covered here? (832) 219-6853

What repairs will an extended warranty cover?

It depends on the tier. Powertrain coverage pays for the engine, transmission and drive axles. Upper tiers add the air conditioning, steering, fuel system and electrical parts such as the alternator and starter. Maintenance items like tires, brakes and oil changes usually are not included. We read through the covered parts list with you before you choose.

Is a vehicle service contract the same thing as car insurance?

No, they protect against different costs. Insurance pays for wrecks, theft and storm damage. A service contract pays for covered mechanical and electrical breakdowns caused by normal driving. Many drivers carry both because each one handles a separate type of bill.

Can I get a plan for a high-mileage car?

Often you can. Every plan has its own eligibility limits, and the price rises with age and mileage since parts like the transmission and timing components are closer to wearing out. Give us the year and current mileage and we will tell you which plans you qualify for.

What happens if the contract turns out to be wrong for me?

Cancel within the first 30 days at no charge and you get your full deposit back. Spend that time comparing the exclusions with the issues your vehicle tends to have. If any wording is unclear, call and we will go over it with you.

Is roadside assistance part of the plans?

Yes. Roadside assistance is covered under the warranty. On the call we explain what it takes care of, such as a stalled car or one that will not start, so you understand it long before you have to use it.

How do the payments work?

With flexible payment options, the cost of the plan is divided across the term. You see the full schedule and the total before you start, with nothing left out.

Do you offer help in Spanish?

We do. We speak English and Spanish, so you can go over your quote and contract in the language you prefer.
